Turning inkjets into trees
Posted on 02 September 2011

It's the start of our new financial year and time to take stock (literally) of our stationery usage over the past year.

One way of telling how much ink we've used is simply to collect all the spent cartridges and then send them off for recycling once a year.

I've just packaged up a dozen HP cartridges which are now on their way to:

ShpforCharity

FREEPOST

ShpSolutions

Lancaster

The good people there will recycle them and donate any proceeds to charity. We're continuing our support for the Woodland Trust and its More Trees More Good campaign.

If you've got any old inkjet cartridges - or mobile phones - hanging around, you can put them to good use and send them off for recycling that benefits a charity.
